"The Devil We Know" The Northwood Conservation Commission is sponsoring a screening of the documentary "The Devil We Know" that will be shown at the Town Hall on Wednesday evening, June 19, 6-8pm. This screening is presented as a public service and is free and open to the public. THE DEVIL WE KNOW: DuPont and 3M poisoning the world. The film, The Devil We Know, is the story of how one synthetic chemical, used to make Teflon products, contaminated a West Virginia community. New research suggests nearly all Americans have been exposed to non-stick chemicals in food, drinking water, and consumer products and that it’s in our blood. Following the film, there will be a panel discussion about PFAS in drinking water nationally and in New Hampshire. You are invited to learn about the health concerns from exposure to this chemical and how we can protect water quality and our children. Heres’s link to the movie trailer for a preview:
